WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION
APRIL 13, 2022 – MEETING ROOM
The regular meeting of the Windsor Charter Township Planning Commission was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairperson Holtz.
Present: Holtz, Pray, Sabourin, Fabijancic, Bowen and Barnhart-Smith
Also Present: Asst Chief Fabijancic, Clerk Rumsey and Planning Consultant Preston
Sabourin moved and Bowen seconded to approve the agenda as written. Motion Carrie.
Bowen moved and Fabijancic seconded to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as written. Motion Carried.
Board of Trustees: Introduced Ordinance No. 48, an Ordinance amending the Windsor Charter Township Ordinance Authorizing and Permitting Adult-Use Marihuana Establishments and discussed using American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) fund to purchase ADA doors for Library and Township Office.
Board of Appeals: Public Hearing scheduled for May 5, 2022, at 7:00 pm on front and side setback and lot width variances for two properties on Davis Hwy.
Board of Review: March Board of Review has been completed.

An update was given on building construction. A review was conducted on Mason Terra Special Use Permit. Holtz moved and Fabijancic seconded to approve the renewal of Mason Terra Special Use Permit.
Ayes: Sabourin, Barnhart-Smith, Holtz, Pray, Fabijancic and Bowen
A review was conducted on Therapeutic Health Choice Special Use Permit. Holtz moved and Bowen seconded to approve the renewal of Therapeutic Health Choice Special Use Permit.
Ayes: Bowen, Fabijancic, Pray, Holtz, Barnhart-Smith and Sabourin
Holtz moved and Pray seconded to set a Public Hearing, during regular Planning Commission meeting on May 11, 2022, for Marley Crops Change of Zoning request. Motion Carried.
Pray moved and Sabourin seconded to set a Public Hearing, during regular Planning Commission meeting on May 11, 2022, for Marley Crops Special Use Permit request. Motion Carried.
Holtz moved and Bowen seconded to set Public Hearing, during regular Planning Commission meeting on May 11, 2022, for SPTP Ventures LLC Special Use Permit request. Motion Carried.
Due to trouble with the printers, the new updated Zoning Ordinance will be mailed out to the Planning Commission members for review. Suggestion was made to read Article 7, Section 704 to refresh memory on Special Use Permits. Will continue discussion next month and to possibly set Public Hearing on the New Master Plan and Zoning Ordinance for June’s Planning Commission meeting.
