WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING – OCTOBER 13, 2021
MEETING ROOM – 7:00 PM
The regular meeting of the Windsor Charter Township Planning Commission was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairperson Holtz.
Present: Holtz, Johnson, Pray, Sabourin, Fabijancic and Bowen
Also Present: Asst. Chief Fabijancic, Lisa Rumsey (Clerk), Pete Preston (Consultant)
Bowen moved and Johnson seconded to approve the agenda as written. Carried 6-0.
Bowen moved and Fabijancic seconded to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as written.
Board of Trustees: 1) Approved 3.8 mills for property taxes for 2021/22. 2) Renewed Property and Casualty Insurance. 3) Resolution on Postmarks, not accepting postmarks as date of payments for Property Taxes. 4) Resolution of support, endorsing Windsor Township Library Par Plan Risk Reduction Grant application.
Board of Appeals: Met on October 11th and approved request for a variance from Harrington Outdoor Equipment to install a 6 foot fence, within the required front setbacks, instead of the 4 foot required in accordance with Section 6.9.5(D) of the Windsor Charter Township Zoning Ordinance.

Hear Public present on agenda items: Public comment was heard.
Residents of Grand Pointe Subdivision are requesting the township look into a Street Parking Ordinance. Pictures showing the issues their subdivision has been dealing with were presented. Discussion was held by the Planning Commission and the consensus was more research needs to be done before a determination can be made.
An updated Zoning Ordinance was distributed to the Planning Commission for review.
Holtz moved and Fabijancic seconded to change the November Planning Commission date to Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 7:00 pm, due to conflicting schedules. Carried 6-0.
