WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

REGULAR MEETING – AUGUST 11, 2021

MEETING ROOM – 7:00 PM

The regular meeting of the Windsor Charter Township Planning Commission was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairperson Holtz.

Present: Holtz, Johnson, Pray, Sabourin and Bowen

Absent: Collins and Fabijancic

Also Present: Asst. Chief Fabijancic, Lisa Rumsey (Clerk), Pete Preston (Consultant)

Johnson moved and Bowen seconded to approve the agenda as written. Carried 5-0.

Holtz moved and Sabourin seconded to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as written. Carried 5-0.

Reports:

Board of Trustees: 1) Continued to opt out of the 80/20 program and pay 100% of health insurance premiums for the full time Emergency Services personnel for the next plan year. 2) Mike Ross, an Eagle Scout has volunteered to clean veteran’s headstones at the West Windsor Cemetery as a service project.

Board of Appeals: None

Board of Review: July Board of Review was completed and 25 corrections were made.

Reports & Announcement: On August 3^rd, a Potterville School Bond Proposal Special Election was held. There was a 15% turnout at the polls.

Old Business:

Pete Preston, Planning Consultant, distributed revised pages to Master Plan that also incorporated the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) of the township discussed at last meeting. Planning Commission to review for two weeks, and if no updates, send to neighboring communities for 63 day review.
