PUBLIC HEARING – 5091 LANSING ROAD CHANGE OF ZONING REQUEST
AND REGULAR MEETING – JUNE 9, 2021
HELD JOINTLY VIA IN PERSON AND
VIDEO/TELECONFERENCE – GOTOMEETING – 7:00 PM
The regular meeting of the Windsor Charter Township Planning Commission was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairperson Holtz.
Present: Holtz, Johnson, Pray, Sabourin, Fabijancic and Bowen
Also Present: Planning Consultant Pete Preston, Asst Chief Fabijancic and Clerk Rumsey
Bowen moved and Johnson seconded to approve the agenda. Carried 6-0.
Holtz moved and Sabourin seconded to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as written. Carried 6-0.
The Public Hearing for Change of Zoning request on 5091 Lansing Road was called to order by Chairperson Holtz at 7:02 pm.
With no comments or questions from the public, Chairperson Holtz closed the public hearing for Change of Zoning request on 5091 Lansing Road at 7:03 pm.
Board of Trustees: Approved Marijuana licensing permits for Premier Meds, Approved the renewal of Marijuana licensing permits for New Genetics, Lake Life Farms and Green Peak Industries and Approved a Water Service agreement with the Lansing Board of Water and Light.
Board of Appeals: None
Board of Review: Coming in July.

An annual review was conducted on Terrasana Real Estate Holdings LLC Special Use Permit. Holtz moved and Sabourin seconded to approve renewal of Terrasana Real Estate Holdings LLC Special Use Permit for another year, as they have met requirements. New expiration date 6-26-2022.
Ayes: Fabijancic, Sabourin, Johnson, Holtz, Pray and Bowen
Terrasana Real Estate Holdings LLC Special Use Permit Renewal Approved: 6-0-1.
Pray moved and Fabijancic seconded to recommend for the Board of Trustees to approve the petition to amend the zoning district from B-1 (Business) to M-1 (Industrial) for 5091 Lansing Road (Parcel No. 080-018-400-115-00) as its consistent with the area and in accordance with the master plan.
Ayes: Bowen, Pray, Holtz, Johnson, Sabourin and Fabijancic
Approved Change of Zoning Recommendation for 5091 Lansing Road: 6-0-1.
Continued to work on the Master Plan. Analyzed and made lists of the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) of the Township.
