 REGULAR MEETING – APRIL 14, 2021

The regular meeting of the Windsor Charter Township Planning Commission was called to order at 7:00 pm by Vice Chairperson Johnson.

 

Present:  Johnson, Pray, Sabourin, Fabijancic and Bowen

Absent: Holtz and Collins

Also Present:  Planning Consultant Pete Preston, Asst Chief Fabijancic and Clerk Rumsey

 

Johnson moved and Sabourin seconded to amend the agenda adding Approve the Agenda, Approve Minutes of Previous Regular Meeting and Approve Minutes of Special Meeting.  Carried 5-0.

 

Johnson moved and Bowen seconded to approve the agenda as amended.  Carried 5-0.

 

 Johnson moved and Sabourin seconded to approve the minutes of the previous regular meeting as written.  Carried 5-0.

 

Johnson moved and Bowen seconded to approve the minutes of the special meeting as written.  Carried 5-0.

 

Reports:

      Board of Trustees: Continued to table Terry Haines Special Use Permit and work starting on the preservation of the cemetery mausoleum.

 

      Board of Appeals:  None

 

      Board of Review:  None

 

      Reports & Announcement:  None

New Business:

An annual review was conducted on Mason Terra Special Use Permit.  Pray moved and Sabourin seconded to approve renewal of Mason Terra, LLC Special Use Permit for another year, as they have met requirements.  New expiration date 4-23-2022.

Ayes:  Fabijancic, Sabourin, Johnson, Pray and Bowen

Nays:  None

Absent: Holtz and Collins

Mason Terra, LLC Special Use Permit Renewal Approved:  5-0-2.

 

An annual review was conducted on Therapeutic Health Choice Special Use Permit.  Sabourin moved and Bowen seconded to approve renewal of Therapeutic Health Choice Special Use Permit for another year, as they have met requirements.  New expiration date 4-23-2022.

Ayes:  Bowen, Pray, Johnson, Sabourin and Fabijancic

Nays:  None

Absent: Holtz and Collins

Therapeutic Health Choice Special Use Permit Renewal Approved:  5-0-2.

 

 

Unfinished Business:

Continued discussion on the updating of zoning ordinance.  Amendments were made to sign ordinance, as discussed at last month’s special meeting and was distributed.  Golf courses were moved to be in Agricultural districts only.  Discussion was held on Service Drive requirements.  The next workshop (date and time to be determined through emails) will be on Strength Weakness Opportunity Threat (SWOT).

With no further business Johnson moved and Fabijancic seconded to adjourn the meeting at 7:25 pm.  Carried 5-0.
