REGULAR MEETING – JUNE 10, 2020 – 7:00 pm

The regular meeting of the Windsor Charter Township Planning Commission was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairperson Holtz.

 

Present:  Holtz, Sabourin, Johnson, Pray and Pisano 

Video/Teleconference: Kelley

Absent: Brija

Also Present:  Supervisor Slucter, Asst. Chief Fabijancic and Lisa Rumsey (Clerk)

 

Pray moved and Johnson seconded to approve the agenda as amended adding Review Zoning Ordinance in Unfinished Business.   Roll Call Carried 6-0.

 

Sabourin moved and Pisano seconded to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as written. Roll Call Carried 6-0.

 

Reports:

      Board of Trustees:  At last night’s meeting adopted Township and Emergency Services COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Plan and approved the renewal of Medical Marijuana Permits and new Adult-Use Marijuana Permits for Green Peak Industries.

 

      Board of Appeals:  None

 

      Board of Review:  None

 

     Reports & Announcement:  None

New Business:

An annual review of Terrasana Real Estate Holdings Special Use Permit was conducted. A progress report was given on status of licensing and site plan.   Johnson moved and Pray seconded to approve renewal of Terrasana Real Estate Holdings Special Use Permit for another year, as they have met requirements.  New expiration date 6-26-2021.

Ayes:  Sabourin, Johnson, Holtz, Pray, Pisano and Kelley (Videoconference)

Nays:  None

Terrasana Real Estate Holdings Special Use Permit Renewal Approved:  6-0-1.

 

Holtz moved and Johnson seconded to set public hearing for a rezoning requested by Consumers Energy on parcel number 080-010-100-004-00 from M-1 & PUD to M-1 for the next regular Planning Commission Meeting on July 8, 2020 at 7:00 pm.

Ayes:  Sabourin, Johnson, Holtz, Pray, Pisano and Kelley (Videoconference)

Nays:  None

Public hearing set for rezoning of parcel 080-010-100-004-00:  6-0-1

 

Unfinished Business: 

Pete Preston, Planning Consultant, distributed the administrative sections of the draft zoning ordinance, Articles 1-11 to the Planning Commission.  Will discuss any changes to any part of the plan at next meeting.  The Zoning map has been reviewed by supervisor and the clerk and it’s in the process of being updated.  The notices of intent to plan will be going out soon.
